My client based in Basildon, a subsidiary of a large publishing organisation, is currently looking to recruit a Research Assistant to join them initially on a six month contract to cover for maternity leave.
Reporting to the Research Team Leader, your main job function will be to undertake research, mainly by calling companies, but also using email, internet and any other sources necessary to update the company’s information database.
The successful applicant will also be required to undertake proof reading, so it is essential that you possess a good eye for detail.
To be considered for this position you must have a high level of accuracy, an investigative manner, be computer literate (ideally with Excel), have excellent communication skills, a professional telephone manner, the ability to meet tight deadlines and most importantly the desire to play a part in developing and improving the products our client offers.
This position would suit a hard working individual with 5 GCSE’s at grade C or above (or equivalent), experience in an investigative / research / data / information-gathering / customer services position.
