Training organisation are seeking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Construction Trades Trainer to join their dynamic and expanding team. Working with 16-18 year old learners, the successful applicant should be able to engage disaffected youth learners in improving their trade skills. You must be self motivated with empathy for the client group.
You must have:
> expereince working within the construction industry
> experience in delivering construction training and
> relevant assessor qualifications (A units and/or V units)
In addition a teaching qualification such as the Certificate in Education or PTTLS/CTLLS/DTLLS would be a distinct advantage.
The course is an introduction to Construction Trades so you should be able to demonstrate a broad range of skills including:
* Painting & Decorating, Tiling, Plumbing, Carpentry & Joinery, Bricklaying etc.
Commencing salary is between £22,000 and £28,000 per annum depending upon expereince and qualifications.
