A Sales Manager is required by my very successful and dynamic publishing house to maximise display advertisment sales over the appointed territories achieving and exceeding set budgets and to sell and promote associated products or sponsorships as appropriate.
Primarily you will be developing and securing new business across 3 specialist business magazines where you will be maintaining regular contact with existing clients and advertising agencies to encourage renewal and increase levels of business.
With a minimum of 5 years sales experience, you must be confident in presenting to leading companies and associated PR, marketing media independents to acquire new business and position for future media schedules. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be assisting him in managing the sales team and ensuring that sales forecasts and figures are reported on a monthly basis.
You must be target driven, committed to good customer care and have a consultative approach to your work as well as enjoy working in a relaxed environment.
This company has an ambitious 5 year growth plan and are therefore looking for the right calibre of individual to ensure they realise their potential and help you achieve your goals at the same time.
International travel features as part of this exciting role so you should expect to be away in Europe on average for c. 1 week in every month but only 1 or 2 days at a time. Any knowledge of european languages would be highly desirable.
