| Service Co-ordinator Basildon, Essex Up to £18,000 My client is a global organisation which provides leading engineering services and solutions to the petroleum market. They are currently looking for someone with good customer service skills and previous experience of allocating work, ideally within engineering, to join them on a full time basis. As Service Co-ordinator you will be the main point of contact for Field Engineers and Customers. You will be responsible for taking calls from customers regarding faults and problems which require a visit from an Engineer. You will then manage the daily workload for Field Engineers ensuring high engineer productivity and that service level agreements are maintained. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate logs of items completed and items outstanding and will participate in daily conference calls with Field Managers to discuss the results. This position requires someone with an excellent telephone manner who can work under pressure and maintain a positive and proactive approach. You will need strong influencing and decision making skills and will need a keen eye for detail. Previous experience of liaising with Field Based Engineers would be a distinct advantage, although not essential as long as you have previous customer services experience and are keen to learn. You should however be computer literate and able to use Microsoft Excel and Access and be able to work well as part of a team to ensure a high level of customer service and fault resolution is achieved. The hours for this position are 40 per week, working a shift pattern on a rota system between 7:00am and 5:00pm as well as one weekend in three.
