| Investment Database Administrator Basildon £16,000 My client is a large financial services company based in Basildon. They are currently looking for a Knowledge Database Administrator to join their busy knowledge management team. The duties include: • Being a product expert for the team. • Updating database regularly. • Providing coaching and mentoring to all team members. • Communicating product upgrades to management and the team via appropriate methods. • Ensuring accurate and effective information is provided to both internal and external customers. • Meeting regularly with line manager and team to discuss issues and ideas. • Ensuring processes and procedures are appropriately controlled and monitored to provide effective and accurate content. • Responding positively and professionally to service failures, keeping managers and team leaders informed and ensuring that all issues are clearly understood and communicated. • Providing support and documentation for regular documented reviews of individual performance, training plans and coaching sessions • Preparing and delivering training documentation. Knowledge and experience within the Investment Industry in essential, as well as at least 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or the equivalent). Product knowledge such as PEPs, ISAs, Bonds, OEICs, Unit Trusts or Pensions is required too. Regular contact with the rest of the company, management team, and external management companies is a key part of this role, so good communication and customer skills are essential.
