| Database Account Executive Basildon, Essex £16,000 - £18,000 basic plus commission (OTE up to £23,000) My client is a subsidiary of one of the largest corporate business information groups in the UK. They are currently looking for a Database Account Executive to join them in their Basildon offices on a permanent full time contract. To be considered for this position you will need to be a graduate (or the equivalent) with a Business or Media degree with strong communication skills and the ability to manage your own workload. You should also be computer literate and should be capable of working both as part of a team as well as individually. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm with an hour for lunch and will be responsible for promoting and selling databases and related services to both new and existing customers. Working closely with the marketing team your tasks will include identifying new areas and methods for promoting my clients products and services and following up all leads in a timely fashion. Other duties will include: • Promoting products to both new and existing customers, using the telephone, email and post • Managing and maintaining accurate records • Providing quotations to customers in a timely and efficient manner • Attending conferences, seminars and meetings • Account management • Working closely with another sales team to ensure prospects are managed to maximum effect Please note that due to the high volume of applications received only suitable candidates will be contacted.
