| We established media company that specialise in online products are seeking a new team member in their database sales team. The role will involve: Working closely with the Account Managers in promoting and selling the companies Public Sector Databases and related services to both new and existing customers. They will work closely with the Market Development Team to ensure all “warmed-up” leads are followed up in a timely fashion. They will be expected to achieve set personal targets as well as contribute to the over-all team target. Main Tasks: 1. To support the Database Account Managers and Database Sales Manager in their daily business activities, including preparing counts and quotes. 2. To promote and sell the companies Database products to a combination of existing customers and new prospects, using the telephone, mail and e-mail. 3. Working closely with the other sales teams to ensure prospects are managed to maximum effect. 4. Work closely with the Sales Development team on various sales & marketing campaigns. 5. Managing and maintaining accurate records. 6. Occasionally representing the company at external conferences, seminars and meetings. 7. The DAE is expected to progress to the role of Database Account Manager within a maximum of 2 years (24 months). You will ideally be a graduate with a media related degree, have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, have the ambition to progress within the company, be a good team player whilst having the ability to work alone when required, be able to produce your own accurate documents unsupervised, have good organisational skills as well as that of your own diary management and be able to formulate and present new ideas for product and service improvement. |
