| Database Account Manager Job Purpose: The Database Account Manager is a member of the Database Sales Team (5 full time members). Their role is to promote and sell Public Sector Databases and related services to both new and existing customers. They will work closely with the Market Development Team to ensure all “warmed-up” leads are followed up in a timely fashion. They will be expected to achieve set personal targets as well as contribute to the over-all team target. Main Tasks: 1. To promote and sell Database products to a combination of existing customers and new prospects, using the telephone, mail and e-mail. 2. Woking closely with the other sales teams to ensure prospects are managed to maximum effect. 3. Work closely with the Marketing Department to identify new areas and methods for promoting products and services. 4. Managing and maintaining accurate records. 5. Providing professional and accurate written quotes in a timely and efficient manner. 6. Representing the company at external conferences, seminars and meetings |
