Full Description:
Professional law firm are seeking a Qualified Solicitor (4-6 years pqe) to join their Litigation and Dispute Resolution department. This department advises clients on all areas of civil and commercial litigation. The team provides valuable support to the firm`s company and commercial clients on commercial and residential landlord and tenant issues and are regularly instructed to deal with partnership and shareholder disputes, injunctions, professional negligence, debt recovery and property litigation. The team also provides litigation advice and assistance to the firm`s probate department and acts on behalf of a number of Trustees in relation to personal and corporate insolvency issues.
You will handle a varied workload in accordance with client protocols and with an appropriate level of supervision and act as a point of contact for clients, demonstrating a level of knowledge and skill commensurate with experience. Within this role you will exercise full compliance with the firm`s protocols on billing and credit control and demonstrate a suitable level of financial management in respect of your own files. You will be expected to support marketing and business development activity within the team eg, attending marketing events arranged by the firm for clients. You will also need to be expected to identify other areas where the client may be assisted by different departments within the firm and to make the appropriate referral.
