Job Description

A world-leading biotechnology company is currently seeking a Temporary Scientist II Tech Dev Providing scientific and technical expertise to support development projects and site goals on the Cambridgeshire/Suffolk border. The purpose of the Temporary Scientist will be to provide scientific and technical expertise to support development projects and site goals. You will be required to report project progress to project leader or a more senior scientist and work with a project team and sometimes with other departments such as EHS, QA and Production, presenting results. You may be required to stand in for more senior colleagues and although work is supervised you will work be required to work independently within your field of knowledge. Role and responsibilities: * Execution of complex development or analytical tasks. * Develops new methods and applies them in order to support the process development activities. * Actively participate in the project team meetings for each program under investigation. * Maintenance of comprehensive records of work performed. * Provide reports of work as required. * Complies with regulatory requirements and corporate policies and goals. * Maintains current awareness in subject areas relevant to execution of the above. Experience/Qualifications: * Degree in Chemistry or other relevant subject. * Able to demonstrate competent use of necessary methods.
