Job Description
Research Engineer position within the new ideas team of this hugely successful company. Your role will involve research into new video and image processing technologies, investigating improvements, implementing simulations of new techniques, creating demonstrations of technology, writing reports describing developed technologies, interacting with product development teams and filing patents.
Position: Research Engineer Video/Image processing
Location: Hertfordshire WD4 easily commutable from London Euston.
Salary: £30-36k.

C++ or C, Image Processing, Video Processing, relevant MSc, PhD or commercial research project.
Desirable skills:
Motion estimation and compensation, Video de-interlacing and scaling, Video and image enhancement techniques, 3D Video, Video compression/decompression standards, Basic knowledge of hardware architectures, Strong mathematical skills, Experience of writing Patents.
