Job Description

Our client, of the worlds leading investment banks, is seeking and experienced Business Analyst who possesses strong product control experience and thorough OTC derivative knowledge. The role sits within the team which is responsible for supporting, co-ordinating and governing change throughout the banks Finance business globally. The key activities of the team include driving and managing various finance programmes across the business. This role is for a Business Analyst in the Product Accounting and Sub Ledger business and will be part of work within the sub-ledger \"continuous improvement\" stream to deliver strategically aligned \"quick fixes\" and tactical solutions to business issues. Responsibilities include: * Building relationships with business and IT clients * Performing business/root cause analysis on issues, documenting through business requirement documents * Engagement in the execution of the overall testing schedule * Support of the full project life cycle for \"quick fixes\" and tactical solutions into the application * Following up queries from both the Business and IT on Business Requirements/Testing and other project matters * Ad-hoc training The successful applicant will be either graduate (or equivalent) educated and/or possess a professional accountancy qualification. Investment Banking or Consultancy experience is also required for this role. Due to the nature of the business OTC Derivative front-to-back product knowledge is essential. Experience of working on Investment Bank sub-ledger platforms will be highly preferred.
