Job Description
Our Client is continuing to expand its business and as part of their plans are seeking to recruit an experienced Underwriter who can progress quickly and gain significant underwriting authority.
Key Responsibilities:
Underwriting of a very wide range of risks dealing with both direct clients and brokers
Close monitoring of existing customers, understanding their ongoing needs and requirements
Relationship management responsibilities for the larger clients
Develop close, effective relationships with brokers
Visits to direct clients and brokers throughout UK
Able to use opportunities to cross sell and to build the business
Person Specification:
3 years plus underwriting experience
Demonstrate the thought process to consider the risks involved a wide range of risks
Proven sales ability
Able to adapt and show flexibility when required especially in relation to servicing the needs of direct customers and brokers
Progress towards ACII
