Operations Manager - Insurance
London EC2
£45,000 - £55,000 DOE Plus Quarterly Performance-based Bonus (OTE £50,000 - £60,000), Excellent Benefits Package including Private Health Insurance, Pension and Free Life Insurance
Since launching the UK\'s first comparative platform for SME insurance, our client has delivered insurance products to over 100,000 customers. Their platform is integrated into over 200 online partners and works with some of the largest aggregators including Moneysupermarket, GoCompare and Compare the Market. An opportunity has now arisen for an Operations Manager to join their team.
This role would suit a senior manager with an understanding of business dynamics looking to join one of the UK\'s fastest growing insurance brokers.
As the Operations Manager you will assume responsibility for all contact centre processes and Back Office functions, as well as the review and delivery of changes and improvements.
Your duties will include:
* contact centre processes - reviewing and co-ordinating planned changes, ensuring improvements are delivered
* Back Office functions - co-ordinating the delivery of the migration to a new contact centre application
* delivering changes to telephony, outsourcing functions and resource planning tools
* delivering changes to operational structures, including selling strategies and retention objectives
* involvement in training, volume, budgetary and bonus plans; ensuring they are consistent
To be considered for this position, you must have senior-level management experience gained within a customer-facing business. You will also need to demonstrate a clear understanding of key business dynamics including analytics, business processes, CRM and project management on a practical level.
In addition to a degree level qualification (or equivalent), as the Operations Manager you will also be required to demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to influence senior management.
Whilst not essential, an insurance background would be beneficial to your application, as would a post graduate (or equivalent) or professional qualification, such as Prince or Six Sigma.
