Our client is is one of the largest privately owned third-party logistics management groups in the UK, and has major depots all of the UK. The are currently recruiting due to expansion for a Warehouse Manager. The successful candidate will need to have a minimum of 5 years experience working in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
Complete all allocated tasks as expeditiously as possible
Meet productivity targets
Maintain the warehouse management systems as directed
Keep the warehouse clean and tidy at all time
Control stock counts
Conduct re stack and other stock reconfiguration tasks as required
Implement Group Occupational Health and Safety policy as directed
Use MHE in a safe and sensible manner ensuring that at all times speed limits are observed
Report any risks or perceived hazards to the shift management
Ensure that all operational activity meets legislative requirements
Schedule warehouse activity
Ensure agreed customer requirements are met in full
Qualifications
10 years experience of warehousing and distribution
Understanding of Budgetary process and P&L Management
Developed IT Skills
Qualities
Sarong man management and leadership skills
Attention to detail
Highly developed of sense of responsibility
